Coakley’s standout performance earns superb win against elite fighter Noka Zoa

A flawless victory from start to finish; Craig Coakley (Lionheart) stepped it up a level for this fight and completely outclassed his French opponent.

It will be remembered as one of the performances of the night from Coakley who looked at home in the cage and demonstrated his killer instinct.

Jeremy Noka Zoa (Nassar K France) arrived with high expectations but soon found himself on the receiving end of Coakley’s superior striking.

He was hurt in a matter of seconds; a big head kick turned momentum in Coakley’s favour and he was never going to relinquish control.

He ran at Noka Zoa throwing an array of kicks and using his elbows to good effect. The French fighter was visibly shaken pinned against the fence making every effort to survive the first round.

Coakley’s pressure was intense even landing with some flying knees in a round which he completely dominated.

Noka Zoa had time to recover between rounds and came into the second looking for a resurgence.

He brought the fight to Coakley looking to win back some points but he couldn’t compete with the taller striker.

Coakley was able to land some vicious elbows when he had Noka Zoa against the fence and rocked him early in the round.

The referee gave him a count and the fight continued but another elbow landed flush against his head which brought an end to their bout.

Noka Zoa felt the full force of what Coakley is capable off when he steps inside the cage.

It was a performance which really showed why he is the undisputed 61 kg Caged Muay Thai champion and it would take someone special to take that from him.

His vocal fans made their presence known and he received a standing ovation leaving the cage.

A display of dominant, aggressive fighting which deserved to be one of the performances of the night at Cage Kings Dublin 2.
